WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A TRADE ASSOCIATION AND A TRADE UNION AND WHY AJMAW IS DIFFERENT?
We prefer to call ourselves an Henosis.
A trade association is generally a group of experts gathered together to promote common interests and participate in public relations activities such as advertising, education, political donations, lobbying, and publishing, but their main focus is collaboration between companies or standardization. What trade associations do not do is help and tutor you to rise in skill levels. Nor do they share the knowledge of experts in their field with you.
Trade unions negotiate agreements with employers on pay and conditions, discuss major changes to the workplace such as large scale redundancy and discuss members’ concerns with employers. Trade unions have a political purpose as well as acting to help raise members pay and conditions. What trade unions do not do is help and tutor you to rise in skill levels. Nor do they share the knowledge of experts in their field with you.
Where AJMAW is different is we help you with all that trade unions and trade associations do for their members as well as sharing years of our preceptor’s experiences with our membership. We show you what the real world is like in your chosen art form rather than what you may have been taught at university. With AJMAW you will rise up the levels because we will enable you to publish your work with us at no extra cost other than your continuing membership.
